The tower at Albercutx is located on the main road to Cap Formentor and the access is opposite the car park at the first mirador where the cafe is and the cyclists and tour buses. On the right-hand side of the road, there is a side road which you drive up which takes you so far and the tower is visible then but you have to park and the rest. When you get to the top the views are spectacular especially those of Cap Formentor. All year round Blue Rock Thrush and Balearic warbler can be seen as well as Stonechats, Peregrine Falcons, Ravens and Crag martins.
In the spring when migration starts this is one of the best sites on the island for watching large numbers of birds of prey especially huge numbers of Honey Buzzards but also harriers, eagles and both Red-footed falcon and Hobby. On Sundays it is listed by many birders both visiting and local so a good meeting point.
