Nathan Cope

Nathan Cope founded Birdfact and is its editor. He has spent more than ten years watching and studying birds.

He leads Birdfact’s team of writers and contributors in the UK, the US and Canada, researches and writes for the site himself, and checks every article and species guide before it’s published, against the published sources it draws on.

His aim is simple: when you see a bird and want to know what it is and how it lives, the answer should be clear, correct and quick to find.
